Now Up-to-Date 2.1 can be used to share information over the network with 2.0 users; however, the latest version of the software must be installed on all Public Event Servers.
NOW CONTACT INTEGRATION
You can link Events in Now-Up-to-Date to Contacts in Now Contact, Now Software‘s companion contact manager. To link information in Now Up-to-Date to Now Contact, you must be running System 7—either System 7.0/7.01 with System Tune-Up 1.1.1 or later. See "How to Contact Now Software" at the end of this document for more information on Now Contact.
SHARP WIZARD® MODELS SUPPORTED
Now Up-to-Date is able to link directly with the Sharp Wizard, allowing you to move calendar data between your Calendar File and your Wizard. Virtually all models of the Sharp Wizard are supported, including: ZQ-5000, ZQ-5200, OZ-7000, OZ-7200, OZ-7400, OZ-7420, OZ-7600, OZ-7620, OZ-8000, OZ-8200, OZ-8600, YO-600, YO-610, YO-620, and the OZ-9600. (International models are prefixed with "IQ" instead of "OZ", but should function the same as the US models.)
All of these models are directly supported using the PC Link mode built into the Wizard, except the OZ-9600. OZ-9600 users must use the "Import Other Format" command. For more information on this function please refer the Wizard 9600 manual, Section 8, page 256, "Exchanging information with a personal computer."
AUTO REMOUNTER
Earlier versions of Apple's AutoRemounter extension could cause network performance problems when communicating with a Public Event Server. These problems have been fixed in AutoRemounter 1.2, which is available from Apple on the Hardware System Update 2.0.1 disk.
32-BIT ENABLER
Now Up-to-Date is not compatible with the Apple 32-bit enabler. It is compatible with Mode 32, however, which can be obtained free of charge by contacting Apple Computer, Inc.
